As my Photo Hunt entry this past Saturday established, I am one of those people who likes looking at and taking pictures of clouds. When I was a child, I sometimes imagined that there were whole worlds -- and, on occasion, specifically heaven -- up on and amidst the clouds. At other times, I got to envisioning clouds as being made of cotton wool or candy floss (cotton candy in American speak!). But for the most part, unlike with certain other people (like Bruce van Patten), cloud shapes didn't get me they resembled this or that.
Still, I have to admit that every once in a while, I do see a cloud that I don't feel needs all that imagination to think resembles something. And two Sundays ago, that was the case with the cloud at the top of this entry that I spotted in the Sha Tin sky; one whose photo I had thought of including in the cloud(s) Photo Hunt entry but then decided was so special that it'd be worthy of its own entry on this blog... :)

It looks more like a giant fish to be honest . :/
Hi laicheukpan --
A giant fish? Hmmm, well, at least you see that the cloud looks like *something*! ;b
ytsl
I think it looks like a dragon with sharp teeth. Not a creature I'd want to tangle with or fly through!!
Hi sbk --
Oh good! You see it too!!! :)
I see it too but it looks more like a dinosaur to me, I don't think there's much difference between dragons and dinosaur, but in terms of shape anyway
Hi Lissa --
Well, I imagine that if dragons (and I don't mean the miniature ones like komodo dragons as such!) had really lived, they would have been related to dragons. So... ;b
All right then, which way is it facing? I'm clearly not sufficiently au fait with dragons :)
I see the dragon. And what a beautiful photo.
And here's something else we share: I used to imagine worlds up in the clouds when I was little, too. I also liked to imagine myself climbing around in the cloud landscapes (cloudscapes?) I'd see from my window seat in the plane. (I flew a lot when I was little.)
Hi A. --
It's facing to the right... and it's just the head and neck of the dragon that's in the picture. Okay, so do you see it now? ;b
Hi Alejna --
Yay re your also seeing the dragon! And snap re imagining myself climbing around in the cloud landscapes. (And FWIW, I had the feeling that the clouds would be airy and I would feel light when frolicking on them! ;b)
