A clear view of one of the landslide hit areas that
caused the trail to be closed for a time
Spotted early on in the hike (those wishing for
a clearer photo of what's happening should go here! ;b)
I realize it involves a bit of imagination but I "see" two heads
in this photo -- with the one on the left looking like
it has bandages wrapped around it! ;b
Alternatively, I don't think it takes much imagination to think
that this caterpillar will turn one day soon into a beautiful butterfly!
This is a trail that's generally not too difficult but it does have
its demanding moments -- as this picture shows, and ditto with
my coming across an injured trail runner near this section of the trail
The kind of view that makes this hike rank among my favorites
of the ones that I've gone on in Hong Kong
I wonder how many -- if any -- of the people on the
Ngong Ping 360 cable car that afternoon spotted
my hiking buddy and me! :)
For our part, we couldn't help but notice the cable cars
during the last third or so of our hike that day :)
