Totoros (O and Chibi) and friends
CJ7Before anything else, yes, it's true: Hello Kitty is not the only kawaii critter that I adore. Rather, I also love My Neighbor Totoro's Totoros (especially big and gray O-Totoro) and although I don't like the Stephen Chow movie for which it's the eponymous character all that much, I did come away from my viewing of the film reeeeeally wanting a CJ7 of my own...
...and now I do!!! Granted that it's a CJ7 cushion rather than an alien pet but truly, don't you agree that it's veeeery cute?? At the very least, will say that it is by far the cutest of the CJ7 merchandise I have seen being sold since the movie was released back during this year's Lunar New Year period. And yes, should you wonder, it's veerrrry soft to the touch too. :)))

Re CJ7: Isn't it just... and it's very comfortable too! And yeah, I'm actually USING the cushion. Bought it to replace the Totoro cushion which, because of its tail, I found to not be all that comfortable to lean back on when I tried doing so... So now the Totoro cushion is going to 'just' be sofa decoration once more. ;b
But but... What about poor Winki??? You still like it too no?
And yeah the cushions look so cute and comfy, use them with laughter (this is a Turkish well wishing we use)
And last but not least, I hope you enjoy your new apartment and have a great time with it.
I really would want to attend your housewarming party (now that you have a balcony where I can have a smoke break too!!!!)

OF COURSE I still like -- love -- my Winki Pinki cushion!!!!!!!! The thing though is that it's so fragile now, I'm afraid to let it travel. So it's back in my family home in Malaysia (and yes, I do ask my mother to check on it every once in a while to make sure that it's okay)... :S
And thanks for the apartment wishes. But have to say, balcony and all, absolutely no smoking is allowed at my place!!! ;S

Hmmmmm re sending you one -- and I'm assuming you're going gaga more for the CJ7 than Totoro cushion -- but if you're really serious about wanting one, I'll see about getting one for you -- and keeping for when we next meet (be it in Hong Kong or Malaysia)! ;b
Aww! Both are very cute, but I prefer O-Totoro tho'. I remember watching the cartoon in Japanese with Chinese subtitle (my roomate's CD). I am not familiar with both languages, but I still watch the cartoon till the end. Hoho...

Movie -- and also character -- wise, definitely prefer "My Neighbor Totoro" to "CJ7". OTOH, must say that my CJ7 cushion rules over the Totoro one... ;b

(And Kit, if you're reading this, you should be pleased to know that I was given a non movie character cushion today that I am now using, so CJ7 can "just" be decoration rather than something practical from now onwards! ;b)
