Meat, glorious Korean barbecued meat!

Fatty but oh so good!

Meat in center, rice cakes and enoki mushrooms
on the left of the picture, and kimchi --

which, yes, tastes good barbecued! -- on the right

Should there be any doubt... yes, we ate well in Korea -- and did so by eating lots of meat! :)

Oh, and did I mention that Suwon -- which I visited twice in the space of a week (and where the above photos were taken) -- is (also) famous for its galbi? ;b

Yum-my! I prefer grilled foods (only if it's Korean!) than hot pots. heehee

Hi Willow --

Do I have to choose? Hope not -- as I love grilled foods *and* hot pots! :D

Hi hcpen --

Have just put up another travel post. Hope you like it. :)

Hi sbk --

Barbecued kimchee is yummy -- less sour and spicy than regular kimchee -- not at all a bad thing! :)

hi again ytsl,

If you stir-fry or grill kimchee on your stove top open windows and doors. I once grilled very spicy cabbage kimchee and the kitchen filled with hot spicy air which made my face feel like it was burning and my eyes water. But the kimchee was very tasty.

More food pictures! While you seem to be able to make every morsel of food you point your camera at look really inviting, Korean BBQ makes it really easy.

Simple, delicious--just about perfect.

Hi again sbk --

No fear re my cooking kimchee in my kitchen! Actually, these days, I never cook -- heck, I don't even own a toaster and microwave here in Hong Kong! :D

Hi ewaffle --

Indeed, Korean BBQ is so wonderful -- so much so that my mother and I had it for three of the four dinners that we ate together while in Korea, and I worry that the food pictures from there would all start looking too similar. ;S
