Clean (Joining the Photo Hunt)

Out here in the blogosphere, there's a group of Photo Hunters (also see the PhotoHunt blogroll over on this blog's sidebar) who take part in a weekly online photo hunt initiated by TNChick of TNChick.com. The theme for this week's hunt (which will come to a close after today) is Clean, and I imagine that most other photos will be not film-related.

However, as regular visitors to this blog will realize, I've been in a major movie mood lately. Consequently, my somewhat idiosyncratic choice of photograph to start off my participation in this Photo Hunt game is one that showcases the existence of a film with Clean as its title.

And for the record: Yes, I do like this directorial effort from French auteur Olivier Assayas quite a bit. Also, I'll readily admit that my liking this film has a lot to do with its star being Maggie Cheung Man Yuk -- who won the Cannes Best Actress prize for her role in this 2004 production as well as is the individual who may well be the most honored actress in Hong Kong cinema history (and, incidentally, was formerly married to the man at the helm of this movie). :)

Just happened to see that you had joined the hunt!
What a cool (poster) photo. An original take on the clean theme to be sure!
