I'm with you 100% on this one, YTSL! The very fact that a demonstration of this size occurred and the caring way in which it has been conducted is proof that HK is not just another Chinese city. Even though I can't justifiably say that I'm a Hongkonger, I feel super proud about what is happening and share the excitement and anxiety.

Honestly, the caring and civility of the protestors has been so lovely and amazing it nearly moved me to tears this afternoon. Instead, I got inspired to run into a grocery store and contribute supplies! ;b
