But I'm a bit leery of bugs these days after having been devoured by midges (currently in season) a few weeks back in Pui O! ;SYTSLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09930487923185001591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289278000277019122.post-20645544652861717482016-05-21T09:42:36.506+08:002016-05-21T09:42:36.506+08:00Hi There,

You could have breakfast/lunch there before you start.

There are bugs along the path as well. Last time I nearly bumped into a spider web with its owner right in th emiddle. Those webs are especially beautiful on a cloudy day as water droplets (or maybe morning dew if you are early) Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289278000277019122.post-29381019175139115622016-05-20T22:47:48.963+08:002016-05-20T22:47:48.963+08:00Hi once more T --

You make it sound doable... so it might be an option to go up it and then, depending on how one feels, either going down Tai Mo Shan to Route Twisk or Tai Po. The slopes along the old road is a bit more gentle than Tai Mo Shan Road but it is a little bit longer. If you don't mind going through the Cemetery there are shortcuts on unpaved foot paths but might be a bit tough to some.

TAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289278000277019122.post-81896022861645933222016-05-20T00:41:51.556+08:002016-05-20T00:41:51.556+08:00Hi T --

Those terraces were supposed to be ancient tea plantations.

Oh, the terraces on both sides of the foot path as shown in your photo might be fields as well.

TAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
